A Salinas doctor has been sentenced to spend a year in jail, with 180 days already served. Natividad Gynecologist Richard Heiner was convicted of felony domestic violence, and will also be on probation for 4 years, and will have to attend 52 anti-domestic violence classes, and pay thousands of dollars of fees. Heiner is prohibited from consuming alcohol, or being in possession of a firearm, while he is on probation.
