A subsidiary of Habitat For Humanity known as “Re-Store Santa Cruz” has to move. That’s because the surplus home goods store can’t afford the rent at its current location, and their lease is up. Although they wanted to stay in Santa Cruz, it looks as though they’ll be moving to Watsonville. They are hoping to relocate to a Main Street location, which would require a special business license….that is now on the Watsonville Planning Commission’s agenda for June 1st.
Although the home goods are discounted as far as price, most are either surplus products (not secondhand items) or were donated to Habitat For Humanity.
