Santa cruz firefighters extinguished a fire that broke out at a Westside restaurant yesterday. Fire crews responded to the call from sabieng thai restaurant (at 1218 mission street) at 4:30 p.m. firefighters extinguished the flames in about a half hour. 3-neighboring businesses suffered smoke damage, but the flames were contained to the restaurant. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported in the incident.
