One man was injured in a Salinas traffic collision today. The accident occurred on Reservation Road near Portola Drive, when a van traveling westbound failed to inegotiate a turn and drove straight into oncoming traffic. CHP reported that the van hit a BMW causing it to fall into an embankment. The driver of the BMW was removed from the vehicle and transported to Natividad Medical Center. Reservation Road was closed so crews could clean the scene of the accident.
