Several County District Attorney Offices are soliciting reports from the community on price gouging.
KSCO has received several reports of price gouging on basic necessities such as toilet paper and hand sanitizer.
For example, A national pharmacy was found selling 8 rolls of toilet paper for nearly 20-dollars.
Meanwhile, a local market is allegedly selling a bottle of hand sanitizer for 35-dollars.
In the state of California, increasing prices over 10-percent prior to a declaration of emergency is illegal.
