A convicted child molester was arrested in Las Lomas last week on suspicion of soliciting sex from young boys, and he is thought to have other victims as well. 54 year-old Edgardo DeJesus Castro….who is known variously as Rene, Rene Dubon, and Edgar Castro….is known to frequent Santa Cruz, Watsonville, Las Lomas and Moss Landing. He was previously convicted of sodomizing a 13 year-old boy in Santa Cruz county, and before he was arrested this time he reportedly solicited sex from a 7 and an 11 year-old.
