3 men who saved a man and a woman from an apartment fire in december of last year have been honored with an american red cross heroes award. aaron carota, angel estrada, and dane jacinto were driving in watsonville in december of 2011, when they noticed smoke coming from a garage below a duplex apartment. the 3 men ran up the stairs to evacuate the complex. no one was injured in the fire, thanks to the 3 men’s HEROISM. they are scheduled to be honored with the good samaritan award at the american red cross heroes breakfast on may 16th.
