People who wish to watch the counting of the signatures (that have been submitted to recall and remove 2 Santa City Councilmen) can do so today. The count is slated to take place in the Tony Hill Room in the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium. Once the City Clerk Administrator finishes counting the signatures, those petitions will be given to the county, so that people can validate those signatures. Each petition needs at least 7,938 valid signatures.
