A rare dolphin species is being seen in the Monterey Bay. Marine biologist have identified the species as the Northern Right Whale Dolphin. The dolphins are found in a narrow latitudinal range, from around 30-50 degrees north. A diver was able to document a mother with her calf on video. It is believed to be the only video of its type in existence.
