Nearly 200 quilts are expected to be distributed tomorrow and Saturday, to survivors of the CZU August Lightning Complex Fires. Survivor families are scheduled to pick up their quilts at the Live Oak Grange (at 1900 17th Avenue). The goal of the CZU Lightning Fire Quilts Organization is to provide a quilt for every bed in each destroyed household. Survivors seeking quilts are asked to reach out via the CZU Lightning Fire Quilts group on Facebook, or e-mail czulightningfirequilts@gmail.com.
