In honor of the Queen Of Tejano Music, a special event is slated to take place this weekend in Salinas. Selena Quintanilla, who was born on April 16th of 1971, is considered to have been one of the most celebrated Mexican-American entertainers of the late 20th century. The Sunday event is scheduled to be held from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. in Natividad Creek Park.
