A new 1.2 million dollar water conservation program has been approved by the board of directors for the Pajaro Valley Water Management Agency. That’s in an effort to get Pajaro Valley farmers to continue to use water more efficiently so the agency can continue to work toward achieving groundwater sustainability. As part of this new program, P.V. Water is increasing incentives for farmers (to modify their irrigation practices, to become more resource-efficient at a faster rate).
