A Pajaro Valley Senior High School student has received a scholarship from a Bay Area sports team. Karina Gonzales, a multi-sport athlete for the Grizzlies, beat out students from 23 other high schools around the greater San Francisco Bay Area. The $5,000 scholarship is one of 7 given out by Bay Area sports teams. Gonzales will also receive tickets to a game from each pro sports team involved.
