(18:29) SANTA CRUZ- The mountain lion that was captured in a Santa Cruz last week has been released. The puma known as 84M was tranquilized in a tree near 17th Avenue and East Cliff Drive last Thursday. Yesterday (Thurs) researchers with the Puma Project released the healthy juvenile cougar into the Santa Cruz mountains outfitted with a gps tracker.
