A Prunedale woman is facing a new charge in a hit and run case. A 10-year-old boy was crossing the street in Watsonville in March when he was struck by 19-year-old Brenda Alcala-Velador. The victim died from his injuries October 22nd. Acala-Velador now faces a new vehicular manslaughter charge. She is due back in court November 12th for arraignment.
