A fire at a Prunedale business is being investigated as suspicious. Shortly after 6:30 a.m., yesterday (Sunday) morning fire crews responded to Ace Hardware in the Prunedale Shopping center on San Miguel canyon Road. Damage estimates are up to 150 thousand dollars. The fire apparently started in a stack of cardboard and plastic away from electrical circuits and gas pipes. The cause of the fire has yet to be officially declared.
