There was a fatal vehicle accident on Highway 101 near Middle Avenue in Prunedale, this morning. A 67-year-old man was driving southbound at an unknown speed when he allegedly crashed into a shallow embankment and a chain link fence. The 2002 Honda Accord coupe landed on its roof after rolling. The man, whose identity has yet to be released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
