undercover Salinas police officers conducted a prostitution sting on Friday night. 12-suspected-prostitutes were cited in the operation, which targeted areas of john street. 7-women were cited, along with 5-men (whom were dressed as women). 11-suspects were cited and released, while 1 was booked into monterey county jail on an outstanding warrant. The suspects ages ranged from 21 to 55 years old.
