A Capitola Planning Commission meeting drew large number of attendeesfrom the community. About one hundred people showed up for Swenson Builder’s proposed Captitola Beach Hotel project. The overwhelming majority of the attendees oppose the project citing concerns of the already over taxed infrastucture and daily traffic gridlock. The close to 90 room hotel proposal has yet to be formally submitted to the Planning Commission.
