A 26-year-old man was arrested in santa cruz yesterday, after police officers allegedly found several illegal items in his possession. Tilden ball was stopped by santa cruz police officers at 5:30 p.m., on the 3-hundred block of soquel avenue. Officers knew ball was on probation, and conducted a probation-search of his backpack. He allegedly was in possession of drug paraphernalia, along with meth, (which officers believe was intended for sale). He also is accused of having a flare gun and a shotgun shell, as well as burglary tools. Ball’s probation terms prevent him from possessing such items, and he was booked into santa cruz county jail.
