It’s not just Santa Cruz public schools that are closing due to coronavirus fears. Private schools are closing as well.
Georgiana Bruce Kirby Preparatory School is in the process of switching to at-home learning beginning Monday and continuing at least until spring break starts on April 1st.
In Watsonville, Monte Vista Christian School said yesterday it is canceling school on Monday to give teachers an extra day to prepare for remote learning that will be used from Tuesday until it’s spring break starts on April 4th
Mount Madonna School, also in Watsonville, will cancel classes for students on Monday so its teachers can prepare for remote learning if it becomes necessary.
