A pick-up truck crashing into a utility pole caused about 6,000 P.G. & E. Customers to lose power for a while in the Del Rey Oaks, Seaside, And Carmel Valley Areas. The outage began around 6 p.m., and the power was restored to most people about 3 hours later.
