At about 8:20 this morning Santa Cruz County got the “all clear” from p-g & e to begin the power restoration process. It could take up to 48-hours for complete power to be restored as p-g and e needs to visually inspect all lines.
According to a spokesman from pg and e, the utility company has over 6-thousand workers on the ready inspecting the lines and transformers through out northern California as over 2-million people had their power shut off in this latest p-s-p-s.
Once your power is restored… energize what you can because another wind event could hit the central coast Tuesday. The next session of windy weather is expected to be less severe but in the interest of public safety the power might once again be shut off mid-week. Stay tuned!
