The county’s health department is currently running tests to confirm the illness. Lab results are expected today. Meanwhile, an email has been sent to parents of students at Bayview, warning them of the threat. Over 50 cases of measles have been confirmed statewide. The outbreak has been linked to California Disney Parks. Symptoms of measles include fever, cough, runny nose and a signature rash. Those who did not receive a vaccination at an early age are encouraged to contact their medical provider.
