Some residents near Lake Nacimiento (in south Monterey county) believe the county is taking too much water from the reservoir. They are concerned that if the level of the lake gets too low, it would be close for recreation uses….and that could hurt their local economy. The Nacimiento Regional Water Management Advisory Committee has created a “Go Fund Me” page to raise the money they need to file a lawsuit against Monterey county.
