New visitation restrictions are being put in place at area medical facilities. The goal of the new policies is to protect not only the patients, but the visitors and staff as well. At facilities where visitors are still allowed, they will be screened before entering the medical facilities, and if allowed in they will be limited to 1 visitor per patient. Visitors are encouraged to call each facility before they go so they can find out that facility’s specific rules.
