The point Sur historical light station is set to close while major renovation on the bridges leading up to the station takes place.
The point Sur lighthouse station is the only turn-of-the-century station in California open to the public… it first opened in 1889.
The final tour of the lighthouse took place earlier this month and the renovation should take about a year.
