Monologue

Dr. Wallach starts the show discussing the problem of obesity and weight gain in America. Citing technilogical advances as some of the reason behind this change. Starting with advances in heating and cooking so there were no longer wood ashes that used to be put in gardens. Then most people are now eating a lot of preprocessed foods that are full of preservatives and sugars.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a report on health care costs. The cost to insure a family of four has doubled in less than ten years.
