The new vaccine made by Sanofi Pasteur is meant to help prevent diptheria, tetanus, whooping cough, polio and bacterial infection caused by Haemophilus influenza type b. The later known to cause meningitits, pneumonia and arthritis. The vaccine will eliminate 7 of the now 23 federally recommended shots children get before 18 months.

The first concerns a study done at the University of Miami that found HIV patients who took 220 micrograms of selenium faired better than those taking a sugar pill. In fact after nine months those on the daily selenium had significantly lower levels of the virus in their blood. As well as increased immunce cell counts. Another study found that microwaving your kitchen sponge killed 99% of bacteria, viruses or parasites as well as bacterial spores.
