The following is a KSCO commentary.  Here is Kay Zwerling:

Because our listenership has grown enormously since KGO several months ago disintegrated, and so many of their listeners happily are ours, I shall be reading more Commentaries from my book.

Here is one I wrote in the Fall of 2009, and I submit these same perks are probably still available.   It is called “This is an insult.”  Read all of this and weep, folks.  This is what our elected officials have done to you and me.  A great thank you to all of us.

From an Emergency Room doctor – he says “I live and work in a border state overrun with illegals.   They make more money having kids than we earn working fulltime.   Today I had a 25-year-old with eight kids.  That is right.  Eight.  All illegal anchor babies, and she had the nicest nails, cellphone, handbag, clothing, etc.   She makes about $1500 monthly for each.  Do the math.”

I used to say “We are the dumbest nation on earth.”  Now, I must say, and sadly admit, “You are the dumbest people on earth, and that includes me, for we elected the idiots foolishly who have passed the Bills that allow this.”  Sorry, we need a Revolution now!  Vote them all out of office in the next election!

Get mad, and pass this on.

If an immigrant is over 65, and he or she can apply for SSI and Medicaid and get more than a woman on Social Security, who worked from 1944 til 2004, she is only getting $791 per month because she was born in 1924 and there is a Catch 22.  It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890.   Each can also obtain an additional $580 in social assistance, for a total of $2,470 a month.  This is for an immigrant.

This compares to a single pensioner, who after contributing to the growth and development of America for 40-50 years, can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012 in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement.  Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees!

Consider sending this to all your American friends, so we can all be ticked off and maybe get the refugees to cut back to $1,012 and the pensioners up to $2,470.   Then we can enjoy some of the money that we were forced to submit to the government over the last 40, 50, and 60 years.

Please forward this to every American to expose what our elected politicians have been doing over the past 14 years to the over-taxed American.

The following is a KSCO commentary.  Here is Kay Zwerling:

This Commentary is in my book.  I wrote it in November 2008, and it is just as relevant now.

Perhaps the most destructive, life-changing aspect of American society in the past 50 years has been the advent of the liberalism-created philosophy of political-correctness.

These arrogant rules of behavior have taken hold and have remained in our society for much too long.   They are phony and should be discarded.

On the Internet, there are various descriptions of the meaning of “political-correct” also known as p.c.

It is eruption of social tyranny.  It is also ugly, stupid truth about offending people and guarding the First Amendment.

The thin skins of p.c. people make conversation a mine field.

P.C. is called cultural Marxism, or The New Communism.

It is responsible for stifling liberty and Common Sense.

          It is Leftist bigotry.

Now for the really destructive aspects of p.c.   It has made intellectual wimps of many elementary and high school students because competition is stifled, and the achievement of excellence is a no-no, because the egos of many students who cannot measure up are damaged.

Worse than that – history is no longer factual.   It is tampered with and changed so that nobody’s feelings are hurt.

Now, with regard to the damage to our military:  Many Americans feel it is immoral for our government to listen in on phone calls originating from outside our Country, where we could intercept any possible danger to our military by our enemies.

It is more important to that p.c. crowd of people to be sure that their First Amendment rights take precedence over our soldiers’ safety in war.  Another related topic is so-called torture.  I believe that all war is torture.  Waterboarding is called torture, though no one ever died or was permanently damaged by a few minutes of waterboarding.  And, very often, life-saving information is obtained.

Waterboarding releases information that could save the lives of many soldiers.   Asking our military to fight with conditions is suicide.  Waterboarding the enemy has proven to save many soldiers, and to withhold it is crazy.   And yes, the p.c. and their displaced compassion are idiotic.  If a country is at war, it must fight to win and not fight with one hand tied behind.

How incongruous is the way of liberal displaced compassion, where those of the political Left will show emotional concern for the perpetrator of evil, or the murderer, and yet minimize and ignore the pain or death of the victim.   It is another form of callous political-correctness.

The following is a KSCO commentary.  Here is Kay Zwerling:

This is chuckle time.   Because most of us are stressed out with worry about the direction of our beloved Country, let’s take out a few moments to laugh.

This is called “Hotel bill”, and it is very apropos.

An older lady decided to give herself a big treat for her significant birthday by staying overnight in an expensive hotel.

When she checked out the next morning, the desk clerk handed her a bill for $250.

She exploded and demanded to know why the charge was so high.

"It's a nice hotel, but the rooms certainly are not worth $250 for an overnight stay!  I did not even have breakfast."

The clerk told her that $250 is the standard rate, so she insisted on speaking to the Manager.

The Manager appeared and, forewarned by the desk clerk, announced:  "This hotel has an Olympic-sized pool and a huge conference center which are available for use."

"But I didn't use them," she said.

''Well, they are here, and you could have," explained the Manager.

He went on to explain that she could also have seen one of the in-hotel shows for which the hotel is famous. "We have the best entertainers from the world performing here," the Manager said.

"But I didn't go to any of those shows," she said.

"Well, we have them, and you could have," the Manager replied.

No matter what amenity the Manager mentioned, she replied, "But I did not use it!" and the Manager countered with his standard response.

After several minutes discussion with the Manager unmoved, she decided to pay, wrote a check and gave it to him.

The Manager was surprised when he looked at the check. "But madam, this check is for only $50."

"That is correct. I charged you $200 for sleeping with me," she replied.

"But I didn't!" exclaims the very surprised Manager.

"Well, too bad, I was here, and you could have."

So, the answer is, don't mess with Senior Citizens!

Any woman can have the body of a 21-year-old, as long as she buys him a few drinks first.

The following KSCO commentary is an encore presentation.  Here is Kay Zwerling:

Last week I received an urgent letter for funds to support Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Arizona.  It appears that the powers that be do not like the fact that Arpaio is being too successful in his job.

Arpaio is being punished for being “tough on crime”.

He continues to fight to stop illegal immigration, and he forces prisoners to wear pink jump suits, and he cracks down on the criminal wave coming across our southern border with Mexico.

According to the Wall Street Journal, since February 2007, Sheriff Arpaio has arrested about 30,000 illegal immigrants, and the administration is now attempting to curb the powers of this true American.   Now, Obama wants to discredit Arpaio, silence him, and remove him from his job.

Why, you might wonder, would our leader who promised change, honesty, and transparency want to discard the Sheriff who is doing such a good job for our Country?

Well, here is the simple answer – Liberals led by the ACLU have filed 2,700 lawsuits against Sheriff Joe – accusing him of illegally profiling Latinos.

But, they are indeed illegal and they are Latinos from Mexico, and that is not profiling.

Also, President Obama has been doing a dismal job as President and he knows that if he has any chance of remaining in office for more than one term – clearly he must do everything in his power to convince the Country to give amnesty to the illegal immigrants who are here.   If that happens, of course, those new Americans will keep him in office for two terms.

Along with amnesty, the following will happen:  The illegals will expect Welfare benefits, free healthcare, free hospitalization for childbirths, and free schooling in Spanish.  And, who will pay for those perks?   You and me!

Most Americans do not get these taxpayer-funded handouts.

Why should those who come here illegally get them?

The Left likes to think there are 11 million illegals here.

That was the estimate eight years ago.  The amount could now be closer to 29 million.

To make this wonderful tough honest American, Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the fall guy for Obama’s agenda, I say it stinks!

Sheriff Joe should remain where he is, and remind Congress that they are not serving time in a hotel, and continue to expose illegals.

And, We the People should support Arizona – and remain alert, and not allow amnesty for illegals, and the U.S. government should close the borders!

(Bill Graff says):  “Kay reports:   Not much in Joe Arpaio’s situation has changed almost two years later.”

The following is a KSCO commentary.  Here is Kay Zwerling:

This is chuckle time.  Because most of us are stressed out with worry about the direction of our beloved Country, let’s take out a few moments to laugh.   My son Lou shared this one with me, and it is called “Law dilemma” –

A young law student having failed his law exam goes up to his crusty old professor who was renowned for his razor-sharp legal mind.

Student:   Sir, do you really understand everything about this subject?

Professor:   Actually I probably do, otherwise I would not be a professor, would I?

Student:  OK, so I would like to ask you a question.   If you can give me the correct answer, I will accept my mark as it is.   If you cannot give me the correct answer, however, you have to give me an A.   OK?

The professor agreed, and the student asked him the following question:  “What is legal but not logical – logical but not legal – and neither logical nor legal?”

The professor thought about it for some time, and could not answer that question.

So, finally he gives up and changes the student’s failing mark to an A as agreed, and the student goes away very pleased.

The professor continues to wrack his brain over the question all afternoon, but still cannot get the answer, so finally he calls in a group of his brightest students and tells them he has a really really tough question to answer, “What is legal but not logical – logical but not legal – and neither logical nor legal?”

To the professor’s surprise and embarrassment, all the students immediately raised their hands.

“Alright,” said the professor, and asked his favorite student to answer.

“It is quite easy, sir,” says the student, “You see, you are 75-years-old, married to a 30-year-old woman, which is legal but not logical.   Your wife has a 22-year-old lover, which is logical but not legal.   And, your wife’s lover failed his exam, but you have just given him an A, which is neither legal nor logical.”

The following is a KSCO commentary.  Here is Kay Zwerling:

Dear KSCO Listeners,

Because of the KGO disruptive episode a while ago, our listenership has grown enormously, for which we are delighted and grateful.

Most of the new listeners do so via the internet, so MZ has happily obtained a very substantial amount of bandwidth to accommodate them, and because of the newcomers I shall now occasionally broadcast more of the Commentaries from my book, like now –

This was broadcast in September 2008, with additions now, and it is just as relevant today –

The sad current fact is that there no longer is a true media in our Country.  The news that We the People are getting is no longer honest and balanced.  It is a planned liberal machine committed to making Barack Obama President, again.  And, it furthers the motto of leftist extremists, which is “The end always justifies the means.”

In 2008, the McCain campaign was barely covered, and then mostly to ridicule Sarah Palin.

The public unfairly was not getting the real truth.  The deck was stacked.  It is the same now.

Obama never held an executive job in his life.  While in Congress, he voted Present, most of the time.

As President, who must make clear, fast decisions, Obama has been a dismal failure.

He cannot make fast decisions – in fact, he is almost incapable of making any decisions.

He puts most of them off, hopefully until his next four years.

Now, please listen to this urgent request from Tom Winter, President and Editor in Chief of Human Events, a credible conservative Washington, D.C., weekly:

Dear Conservative Friends,
They say the truth hurts – in Obama’s case, it is devastating.
Not surprisingly, the BIG media has kept the American public blind to the truth about Obama including:
The fact that a corrupt Chicago machine politician “made a U.S. Senator out of Barack Obama”.
Also, how Obama won his first election by having his lawyers knock all his opponents off the ballot on technicalities – that is a great tool for shady lawyers.
Then, the Tony Rezko connection “I have never done any favors for him”, says Obama, about convicted developer Tony Rezko.  Oh, but yes he has.
Then, Obama’s connection to ACORN, the ultra liberal tough organization, which started many years ago with good intentions and which supposedly bullied banks recently to make subprime loans to unqualified people.
Tom Winter wants to expose the many skeletons in Obama’s closet by sending specifically to young people, especially those on college campuses, the editorial supplement called “The Truth About Obama, what every citizen needs to know.”

Finally, these are very critical times in our Country!   We must not allow these BIG MEDIA LYING SCOUNDRELS and liberal college professors to succeed in keeping this incompetent candidate in the White House for another four years.   If that happens, we will lose our Country to socialism.

The following is a KSCO commentary.  Here is Kay Zwerling:

How can I not share this gem from an unknown author who must have spent considerable time to research all the following?

To President Barack Hussein Obama and all 535 voting members of this Legislature – and to keep it fair, let’s go back a number of decades of U.S. government leaders.

It is apparent that many of you must be incompetent.
1.   The USPS (that is the Post Office) was established in 1775.  You have had 234 years to get it right, and it is broke.
2.   Social Security was established in 1935.  You have had 74 years to get it right, and it is broke.
3.   Fannie Mae was established in 1938.  You have had 71 years to get it right, and it is broke.
4.   Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965.  You have had 44 years to get it right, and both of them are broke.
5.   Freddie Mac was established in 1970.  You have had 39 years to get it right, and it is broke.
6.   The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil.  It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24B per year and we import more oil than ever before, and now gas is approaching $5 per gallon.  You have had 32 years to get it right, and it is an abysmal failure.

You have failed in every "government service" you have initiated with enthusiasm while overspending our tax dollars.

And, now you want Americans to believe you can be trusted with a government-run healthcare system called Obamacare?!
          We are broke.

In the last several decades, we have provided foreign aid to many countries, some not even our friends.

America – a Country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed hungry, elderly going without needed medications, and mentally ill without treatment, etc.

If all of the foregoing information is indeed true, we Americans must vote in more competent leaders with more compassion for our own needy.

The following is a KSCO commentary.  Here is Kay Zwerling:
Someone I know sent this to me.  The subject is “Presidential Firsts”.
Who said President Obama hasn't done anything?
Here’s an impressive list of “accomplishments” in just three years:
First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a foreigner.
First President to have a Social Security number from a state he has never lived in.
First President to preside over a cut to the credit-rating of the U.S.
First President to violate the War Powers Act.
First President to be held in contempt of Court for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.
First President to defy a Federal Judge’s Court Order to cease implementing Obamacare.
First President to spend a trillion dollars on ‘shovel-ready’ jobs when there was no such thing as ‘shovel-ready’ jobs.
First President to tell a major manufacturing company (that’s Boeing) in which State they are allowed to locate a factory.
First President to file lawsuits against the states he swore an Oath to protect (that’s Arizona, Wisconsin, and Ohio).
First President to appoint 45 czars to replace elected officials in his office.
First President to hide his medical, educational, and travel records.
First President to win a Nobel Peace Prize for doing Nothing to earn it.
First President to not know how to properly pronounce Navy 'corpsman'.
First President to go on multiple global ‘apology tours’ – including bowing to foreign rulers.
First President to go on 17 lavish vacations, including date nights, paid by the taxpayer.
And finally,
First President to have 22 personal servants (taxpayer funded) just for his wife!

I am not sure which is worse – Barrack Hussein Obama getting away with this, or The People letting him get away with it, in a Country "of the people, by the people, and for the people".

The following is a KSCO commentary.  Here is Kay Zwerling:

I wrote this in November 2005, and sadly it is more timely now in 2012.

Anti-semitism is an incurable social disease.  How tragic that it is rampant in American universities.

Local attorney Gil Stein wrote a letter to the Sentinel in 2005 saying that anti-semitism was alive and well at UCSC and that anti-semitism was increasing on college campuses throughout the Country.

How is this possible in institutions of higher learning where parents of college students pay as much as $100,000 for four years so their children can become educated, fair-thinking members of society?

Because Gil Stein’s letter is very worrisome, I will repeat portions of it along with my own thoughts so that many others in this area can be made aware of this ugly situation, which, if not confronted, will escalate just as it did in Germany in the early 1930s when I lived through it and lost members of my own family.

Please listen, then register your outrage with the local Chancellor and those irresponsible members of the faculty who say nothing about this very noticeable disagreeable issue.

Pro-Palestinian speakers receive University sponsorship while pro-Israel speakers are denied sponsorship by those same departments.

The University promotes diversity, but not diversity with which they disagree.   This policy of looking the other way when certain speakers spout racist venom needs to stop.

Academic freedom should not be a cover for bigotry.   All campuses should also be open to speakers who do not represent the views of the “politically correct”.

I say shame on the biased and gutless faculty and leaders who encourage prejudice to fester in places of higher learning.   Remember – when good people remain silent and do nothing, bad things happen and evil takes hold.  It is called the Sin of Omission.

Our publically financed universities must no longer become institutions of hate and selective discrimination.

And now, let’s fast forward to 2012 –

Despite the fact that anti-semitism remains an incurable social disease – all fair-thinking people must speak out and protest such despicable actions.

Denying that there ever was a Holocaust – which is really left out of textbooks in Europe at this time, does not deny that barbarism.

That is the height of shame and cowardous.   Good people must denounce it instead of denying its existence.

The following is a KSCO commentary.  Here is Kay Zwerling:

I just learned about the meaning of the flag-draped coffin.   Maybe some of you knew this, but some may not.

Those who think that America is an arrogant nation should really re-consider that thought.  Our Founding Fathers used God's Words and teachings to establish our Great Nation.

Be proud of the Country we live in, and even more proud of those who serve to protect our “God given” rights and freedoms.  Here is how to understand the flag that is laid upon the coffin and is surrendered to so many widows and widowers:

Do you know that at military funerals, the 21-gun salute stands for the sum of the numbers in the year 1776?

Have you ever noticed the Honor Guard pays meticulous attention to correctly folding the USA flag 13 times?   You probably thought it was to symbolize the original 13 colonies, but we learn something new every day!

The 1st fold is a symbol of life.
The 2nd fold is a symbol of the belief in eternal life.
The 3rd fold is in honor and remembrance of the Veterans departing the ranks who gave a portion of their lives for the defense of our Country.
The 4th fold represents the weaker nature, for as American citizens trusting in God, it is to Him we turn in times of peace as well as in time of war.
The 5th fold is a tribute to our Country in dealing with other countries.
The 6th fold is for where people's hearts lie.  It is with their hearts that they pledge allegiance to the flag of the USA, and the Republic for which it stands.

The 7th fold is a tribute to its Armed Forces, for it is through the Armed Forces that they protect their Country and their flag against all her enemies.

The 8th fold is a tribute to the one who entered into the valley of the shadow of death.

The 9th fold is a tribute to womanhood, and Mothers.  For it has been through their faith, their love, loyalty, and devotion that has made this Country so great.
The 10th fold is a tribute to the father, for he, too, has given his sons and daughters for the defense of their Country.
The 11th fold represents the lower portion of the seal of King David and King Solomon, and glorifies in the Hebrews’ eyes, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
The 12th fold represents an emblem of eternity and glorifies, in the Christians' eyes, God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

And finally, the 13th fold, or when the flag is completely folded, the stars are uppermost reminding the recipient of their Nation’s motto “In God We Trust”.

Share this with the children you love and all others who love what is referred to, the symbol of Liberty and Freedom.   One nation, under God, with liberty and justice for all.  Our Soldiers have preserved your right to make this choice!

And, kudos to you Marcia for sharing this.
