A pod of transient Killer Whales was spotted yesterday in the Monterey Bay. The pod of 8 whales, including a very young calf, have reportedly come down from the Puget Sound. It’s the second time that a pod of killer whales has come through the Monterey Bay this year. The earlier pod of 35 reportedly came down from the waterways of the Seattle and Vancouver areas.
