No one was injured when a shark attacked a paddle board on Friday. The incident took place past the kelp beds off off Pleasure Point near 38th Avenue, where 15 year old Austin Vera was knocked of his paddle board when a shark bit the board. The teen was able climb back on the board and discouraged the shark with a blow to head before making his way to shore with the other paddle boarder.
