Although the state has ok’d the re-opening of playgrounds around the state…..as long as certain rules are followed….some cities are re-opening them, and some are not. In Monterey county, the cities of Pacific Grove and Seaside have re-opened their play structures….while in Monterey and Marina, playgrounds will remain closed for now. Because the city needs to clean the structures in the playgrounds on a daily business, cities with fewer playgrounds (and more available funding) are more likely to re-open their playgrounds.
