Platoon Sgt. Of the year was awarded to staff Sgt. Bryan Ivery currently stationed at the Presidio of Monterey. Ivery trains new recruits for the Defense Language Institue and won the award for his skills and leadership abilities. Ivery will be traveling to bases across the Country, providing lessons for thousands of army students.
