Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson, whose department is leading the investigation into the murder of Newman police office Ronil Singh, says planning has begun for the officer’s funeral.
No date, time or place has yet been set for the service. Singh was originally from Fiji, which may be reflected in the service.
The search, meanwhile, continues for the suspect in the case, described by Sheriff Christianson as being in the country illegally.
