a plane crashed in chualar this evening. The plane’s pilot died at the scene, after ejecting and falling to the ground. responders from the california highway patrol, cal-fire, and the monterey county sheriff’s department responded to the incident, near Chualar Canyon Road and Old Stage Road, (east of highway-101). The plane crash was reported at 6:50 p.m. witnesses reported that the pilot was practicing aerial tricks and stunt maneuvers when the crash occurred.
