A California condor egg hatched recently in in the Pinnacles National Park. The baby condor hatched out on April 12th and is known as condor 1078. According to the National Park service, the parents of the nestling are condors 589 (managed by Pinnacles) and 569 (managed by Ventana Wildlife Society). The nest will be monitored and 2 visits to the nest are planned, A tracking device will be attached to the chick once it learns to fly.
