Pacific Grove is on the cutting edge of water conservation.
In an effort to prevent runoff from getting into the ocean… p-g has plans to install two giant storage tanks underneath the pacific grove golf course.
The 9-million dollar project will collect and store the water and then use pipes to send it to “monterey one” for treatment and use.
The city has yet to get the contract bid for the plan but expects the project will take six to 10 months to complete.
