A lawsuit has been dismissed in Monterey county, that had been brought against the city of pacific grove. Monterey county superior court judge larry hayes dismissed the suit brought by a police officer’s union, “with prejudice.” That means that cannot bring another legal action against the city on the same claim. The claim made by the pacific grove police officers association and police management association, was that the city (and voters) had made changes to the retirement system, which violated previous agreements.
