City officials in Pacific Grove want to make it easier to get permits for construction in their city. To that end, they are working on getting a Local Coastal Plan approved by the California Coastal Commission. They also hope to be able to enforce the commission’s rulings in-house, so that developers won’t need to go all over the state (to get to Coastal Commission meetings for projects in pacific grove).
