(18:31)PACIFIC GROVE- The Pacific Grove city council members heard proposals for modifying a short time vacation rental ordinance. During the Wednesday night meeting the council examined about 40 options to ease up the 2016 ordinance limiting short term rentals. A petition is currently circulating that would require owners to occupy the residences. Opponents point out that 45 percent of the city’s dwellings are second homes.
