The once embattled former mayor of Pacific Grove has died. Dan Cort passed away Tuesday from complications stemming from an undisclosed illness.
Cort resigned as mayor of p-g in 2009 while facing a recall. He was a well known real estate developer in Stockton for the past 37-years.
The mayor of Stockton, Michael Tubbs, described him as a “pillar of the community.”
