P.G. MARKET MOVES 07-20-10 19:30 a.v.

After months of debate and controversy, the Pacific Grove Farmers Market has a new location. The city relocated the market after nearby shop owners complained that the market was slowing down business. City Council members voted 4 to 3 back in March to move the market. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Monday at 5 p.m. at the market’s new location in front of the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History on 165 Forest Avenue. The market will be open every Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the summer, and 3 to 7 p.m. in the winter.
