A pacific grove preschool had to be evacuated tuesday, after a gas line was ruptured. Construction crews working on the 3-hundred block of fountain avenue struck the 2-inch gas line at 9:46 a.m. nearby “heaven sent preschool” was evacuated, (as were neighboring residents), for about 3-hours while pg and e workers shut off the gas and repaired the line. No injuries or fires were reported during the incident. the gas line was fixed by 12:30 p.m.
