(18:52) PACIFIC GROVE- The Monterey Fire Department has resumed inspections of Pacific Grove buildings. The fire prevention inspections have resumed in the wake of Ghost Ship fire in Oakland. The inspections had been put on hold in 2012 2012 when the Pacific Grove City Manager Tom Frutchey swithed to alternative methods to completing the required inspections. New construction has continued to be inspected by the Monterey Fire Department.
