As of 8 PM, PG&E has begun yet another round of Public Safety Power Shutoffs in Santa Cruz County. Regions affected include UCSC, portions of the Delaveaga neighborhood, Aptos, and various portions of South County, shown in the above maps. While it is not known as to how long these Public Safety Power Shutoffs will last, it is likely going to take at least 48 hours for PG&E to inspect every inch of de-energized wires when high wind conditions cease for those currently affected by the Public Safety Power Shutoffs.
