A federal judge found Pacific Gas and Electric partly to blame for the cause of the deadly California wildfires of 2017 and 2018.
In a tentative finding… judge William Alsup says the lack of insulated power conductors and the threat of trees and limbs falling on distribution wires… played a role in causing the fires.
The judge ordered all parties; the federal probation office, federal prosecutors and PG&E to comment on his findings by this Wednesday.
