Pedi-cabs will be banned in Pacific Grove….starting in mid-March. That’s because pacific grove city council members just updated an ordinance that addresses which vehicles can, and cannot, be used on the city’s portion of the Rec Trail (which runs from Castroville to Pacific Grove). The ordinance also ‘prohibits foot traffic that could impede bicycle traffic on the Rec Trail’….such as a group of pedestrians walking side-by-side.
