In state news… investigators have located a neglected P-G – and E power line and transmission structure near the power line that reportedly ignited the deadly camp fire in paradise.
Two months ago, an investigator hired by wildfire victims, discovered that the “cresta-rio-oso” line had rusty equipment and some parts taped together with electrical tape. Results of the investigation were made public yesterday.
The line is located in a remote canyon along the Feather river in Butte county… about 25 miles from paradise.
According to court documents filed in December, pg&e told a federal judge that crews and drones had inspected 50-thousand transmission structures in high risk areas since the camp fire.
