Although companies that spray pesticides must currently get permission from their local agricultural commissioner, and also notify workers in the spray area……Greenfield City Council members have voted 4-1 to ask the ag commissioner to publicize the spraying plans, once they approve them. That’s so that people can have the time to try and mitigate their exposure….by closing windows and doors, and staying indoors while the spraying is being done.
